The Nordic Freestyle Championships were first organized in 2009 in Gothenburg, Sweden. At the first competition Heelwork to music, HTM, was not included but has thereafter been a part of the Nordic Championship for Freestyle and Heelwork to Music.
The competition is held every year and Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden take turns organising the competition.
Rules and regulations
The rules for Nordic Championship were decided on a provisional basis in 2010 to be finally decided in 2011. (NKU/AU Minutes no 2-2011, item 10).
Responsible committée

The rules for receiving the champion title for Freestyle was decided. If the dog is a national champion, the dog can take one certificate in another country to become a champion in that country. |
