The Youth Committee works to find common strategies to develop and co-ordinate youth activities in the Nordic countries.
The committee meets once a year with interchanging location between the countries. Furthermore, the committee do phone meetings during the year and exchange inspiration and experiences via e-mail and Facebook. The minutes and conclusions on current issues are reported to the Executive Committee.
Every year, the Nordic Junior Handling Championships are held in one of the Nordic Countries. It is the task of the Junior Handling Committee to regularly oversee the Nordic Championship rules. If the committee finds reason to make changes to the rules, it will be reported to the Executive Committee that makes the final decision on any revisions. The committee also discuss and formulate common Nordic standpoints on Junior Handling-related issues discussed internationally, by the FCI.
